The late Patrick (Paddy) Coady

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Coady, Tower View Belvelly, Cobh, Cork. (Late of Curraghdobbin Carrick-on-Suir, Irish Steel & William O'Brien Crane Hire). Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family after a short illness at his home "Tower view" Belvelly. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Barry) & dear father of Kenneth, Declan, Leonard, Dermot & Patrick. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters-in-law Trish & Petrice, Declan's partner Lynda, Dermot's partner Melanie, grandchildren, sister-in-law Noreen, brothers-in-law, extended family, relatives & friends.

 Reposing at his home "Tower view" Belvelly - (Eircode P24 XE38) on Saturday September 15th from 4pm with rosary at 7pm. Reception into St. Colman's Cathedral on Sunday September 16th at 11.30am for 12 noon Requiem Mass followed by burial in Old Church Cemetery. Family Flowers Only Please

The late John Christopher Maher

The death has occurred of John Christopher Maher, (Cobh, Co. Cork & formerly of Kilmoyler (Cahir) Co. Tipperary), On September 14th, 2018, after a short illness at the Cork University Hospital, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family. John Christopher beloved husband of Rose (née Cooper) (Turners Cross, Cork), dearly loved father of Evelyn, Fiona, Sinead and John. Sadly missed by his wife and family, sons-in-law Ian & Jerry, daughter-in-law Deirdre, grandchildren Kyran, Heather, Tyrel, Eli, Callum, Sarah, Shauna, Nell & Rachel, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

 Reposing at his residence (Eircode P24C449) on (Sunday) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Reception prayers at 9.45am on (Monday) in St. Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh followed by Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.



The late Denis (Dinny) Maher

The death has occurred of Denis (Dinny) Maher, Roxboro, Hillview Drive, Thurles. Formerly Gouldscross, Clonoulty. Peacefully after a short illness. Beloved husband of the late Josie (née Guthrie). Deeply regretted by his daughters Kathryn and Denise, son Niall, grandchildren Joseph, Robert, Lily-Kate, James and Billy, sons-in-law John and Colm, brother Nicky, nephews, nieces, the Guthrie family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Jack Meany, (St. Conlon’s Road, Nenagh & formerly of Higginstown, Kilkenny & Bank of Ireland, Nenagh) 14th of September 2018 in the exceptional care of Nenagh Hospital. Predeceased by his brother Andrew & sisters Sr. Baptist & Sr. Christine, deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives & many friends.

 Reposing at Keller’s Funeral Home, Nenagh on Saturday evening from 5.30’oc to 7’oc. Funeral arriving to St. Mary of the Rosary Church, Nenagh on Sunday morning at 12 noon for Funeral Mass at 12.15 followed by burial in Lisboney Lawn Cemetery, family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Nenagh Hospital.


 The late Dermot Murphy

The death has occurred of Dermot Murphy, (Carraigdún, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and late of Glenduff, Curreeney, Kilcommon) - Sept. 13, 2018 (suddenly), after a brief illness, brother of the late Roger; deeply regretted by his loving wife Alice, brother Pat, sister Joan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing this Saturday evening at Egan's Funeral Home, Thurles from 5.30 o'c. with removal to The Cathedral of The Assumption, Thurles arriving at 8.15 o'c. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Crosspatrick Cemetery.


 The death has occurred of James (Jim) Ryan (Agent) of St Albans, Herts and formerly Killeenyarda Holycross, Thurles and Ballyconnigar, Wexford. Beloved husband of the late Margaret. He will be sadly missed by his children John, Mary and Patricia, grandchildren Sam, Jim, Tom, Clara, Chris and Oliver, brothers Joe (Chelmsford) and Tom (Liverpool), sisters Sr Carmel (Presentation, Youghal), Nora Ryan (Barnstown, Wexford) and Peg Hanafin (Thurles and Wexford), daughter-in-law Julie, son-in-law Martin, nephews, niece, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Wednesday 19th September, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at Holycross, Abbey at 7.45pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday 20th at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
