U14 Emerging Talent Programme (Kennedy Cup Panel)

The squad for this season’s South Tipperary under 14 Emerging Talent Programme (ETP) has been selected.

An extensive selection process commenced on Sunday the 21st October 2012 and continued for a 5 week period which involved the review of schoolboy soccer players which play within the South Tipperary schoolboy league. These players were born in the year 1999

The assessment was completed by the team of Sean McKenna (Manager) & David Lenane (Coach) with support from Pat Power (Squad Co-ordinator).

The U14 ETP panel for 2012 is;

Goal Keepers: Eoin Power (Clerihan) Jack Dolan (Moyglass)

Defenders: Colm Power, Cathal McKeown, Jack Harney, Niall Hoctor (all Clonmel Town), Conor Horan (Clerihan), Gavin Joy (St Kevins), Shane Ryan (Bansha Celtic), Zach O’Halloran (St Michaels).

Midfield: Caven McKenna, Cillian Crowe, Oisin Napier (all Clonmel Town), Alan O’Donnell (Clerihan)

Strikers: Mark Furlong (St Michaels), Ronan Quigley (Clonmel Celtic), Ryan Lambe (Clonmel Town), Willy Armshaw (St Michaels).

The squad will train every Sunday in Clerihan.

This season our U14 ETP squad will prepare for the Kennedy Cup which will take place in Limerick next June.

Throughout the year the panel will play a series of challenge matches and we will report on the lads progress in this column.

For those boys that were not successful in the trials we would like encourage you to continue playing soccer and concentrate on your club development. As it can be possible for a player to enter the squad at any stage during the coming season
