Another big win for Tipperary's Rachael Blackmore at Cheltenham Festival

Rachael Blackmore won the Ryanair Chase on Envoi Allen

Jockey Rachael Blackmore had another big race winner at the Cheltenham Festival this afternoon when Envoi Allen won the Ryanair Chase.

After their success with Honeysuckle in the Mares Hurdle on Tuesday, Blackmore teamed up with Waterford trainer Henry de Bromhead once again to secure another victory, which gave the Killenaule jockey the 14th winner of her career at the Cheltenham Festival.

The 13/2 shot Envoi Allen got the better of even-money favourite Shishkin, while Hitman (22/1) was third.

Speaking to ITV Racing, the Killenaule jockey described the horse's performance as "electric".

"He's an incredible horse, he has a phenomenal engine and I was always hoping he could do something like that.

"Fair play to Henry (de Bromhead) and all the team. He jumped really well today and was much happier than he was the last day.

"This is a magical place and I feel so lucky to be able to walk back into the winner's enclosure".

Blackmore and de Bromhead will be bidding to win back-to-back Gold Cups tomorrow with A Plus Tard.
