Tipperary 1-23 Cork 1-23

Tipperary 1-23 Cork 1-23

Tipp drew for the second successive week in Division 1A of the National Hurling League when they shared the points with Cork at Semple Stadium on Sunday.

With top scorer Pa Bourke shooting 1-6, Tipp looked on course for victory when they led by 4 points midway through the second half. Cork mounted a brave comeback but Tipp edged ahead with a Shane Bourke point in the closing stages, only for Pat Horgan to strike the equalising point.

The teams will meet again in the League semi-final on April 22. The other semi-final will pit Kilkenny against the winners of the Division 1B Final between Limerick and Clare.
