Peake Villa 3 – 1 Cahir Park

Peake Villa accounted for Cahir Park by the Tower on Saturday with another very assured performance to advance to the next round of the Youth Cup. Goals from Adam Garrett, Sean Butler and Faolain Finane were enough to ensure the win, while Shane Flannery got a consolation goal for the visitors.

Bansha Celtic 2 – 2 St Michael’s

A tight local derby, saw Saints scoring first in the 20th minute Elliot Thompson blasted home a penalty. Banshareplied through Stephen O’Dwyer in the 55th minute. He was on hand to put Bansha in front when scoring again from close range ten minutes later. The visitors did not give up and got the equaliser 15 minutes from the end when Conor McGrath finished of a cross from the right.

St Nicholas 2 – 0 Cashel Town

St Nicholas picked up their first points of the season, in a tight but entertaining game on Saturday against Cashel. The first half was goalless but the home team started the second half quicker and went a goal up through Stephen Moloney. They doubled the lead ten minutes from time, and despite valiant efforts by the Cashel forwards to reduce the deficit, the home team emerged victorious.
