Tipperary’s hurlers recorded their second successive victory in the National Hurling League, Division 1A on Sunday when they beat Waterford by 10 points, 0-31 to 2-15, at Semple Stadium on Sunday.
A remarkable display of shooting saw Tipp claim another high-scoring win and took the team’s tally to a very healthy 2-51 from two matches against Galway and Waterford.
Their top scorers were Noel McGrath and Pa Bourke, who finished with 7 points each against a Waterford team that has lost all three League matches.
Tipp’s next match is against Dublin, who are also propping up the table without a point from their three games, at Croke Park next Saturday evening (24th) at 5pm.
