In the remaining minutes Rockwell took over and excellent scores by Eoghan Sheehy and Michael Healy ensured the victory on a final score of 38-31.
After a two hour rest, Rockwell were back on court to play the final againist De la Salle, Arklow. Rockwell had an excellent start and led by 8 points through most of the first half. However, in the final minute De la Salle scored three baskets and at half time the teams were level on a scoreline of 16 points each.
