CAMOGIE: John Ryan announces Tipperary minor team ahead of crunch clash with Cork

The first massive championship encounter of 2024 is upon us already as the Tipperary minor camogie team take the field this weekend and ahead of the game former Tipperary hurler - and Slieve Felim Raparees clubman - John Ryan has named his team for the Munster semi-final clash.

Tipperary take on Cork in a massive clash at the County Camogie Grounds at The Ragg this Saturday afternoon.

Annacarthy's Danielle Butler lines out in goals with a full back line of Paula Quirke, Aoife Mellerick and Ellie Franklin.

Moycarkey Borris defender Sarah Corcoran is at centre-back with Eabha Dolan and Caithlyn Treacy starting on the wings and will start behind the midfield pairing of Lucy Heffernan and Ava Wall.

Lucy Purcell, Danielle Ryan and Emer Dwan are in the half forward line and tghe full forward is Thurles Sarsfields Caoimhe Stakelum with Ava Bevans and Ciara Shelly in the corner forward berths. 

A strong panel has been named and Upperchurch native John Ryan has ensured the work has been done ahead of this fixture against a strong Cork side which gets underway at 1.30pm.
