Wilderness Rovers 1 – 4 Clonmel Town
Sunday’s Clonmel derby game between Town and Wilderness Rovers hadn’t too much bite with both sides not at their best this season with Town rolling along in mid table while the home side are firmly rooted to the bottom and in real danger of going down.
A double from Ben Brown against one of his former clubs in the 25th and 55th minutes, along with a double from Darragh Cronin just before the break, and in time added on, made sure that Town were always in control and always going to take the points in this game.
Wilderness Rovers did have the ball in the Town net from the penalty spot, but it was never enough to make any real difference to the final result.
