Clonmel horse racing meeting rescheduled for next Thursday

The meeting will close for fresh entries by 12 noon tomorrow, Friday, March 1

Horse Racing Ireland has announced that the Clonmel meeting, which was scheduled for today, Thursday, but was cancelled due to a waterlogged track, will now be held next Thursday, March 7.

This meeting will close for fresh entries by 12 noon tomorrow (Friday, March 1) and declarations to run must be made by 10am next Tuesday, March 5.

The same programme of races will be in operation, with the exception of the three miles 80-95 handicap hurdle, which has been deleted from the card (there is a 2m 6f 80-95 handicap hurdle at Limerick on Sunday, March 10).

A new two mile 80-95 handicap hurdle is added to the Clonmel card instead.
