Tipperary Golf: Spring League Grand Final underway at last at Clonmel Golf Club

MENS NOTES:
Alan Maher (Londis) Spring League
The Grand Final is underway and continues to Friday the 19th of April. Fantastic prizes on offer to the winning teams so make sure to get those rounds played!

Men's Fixtures
Spring League Final running until Friday April the 19th.
The Hub 9-hole singles stableford is running every day (Holes 1-9). Green Tees. Entry Fee is €3. Enter as often as you like!
The Donoughmore Cup Qualifier runs from Saturday April 20th to Friday April 26th. This will be a 15-hole singles stableford from the White tees. Entry fee €7. Top 32 will qualify for matchplay. This is our first POY event of the year.

Pierce Purcell
Hard luck to Cillian and the Pierce Purcell Team who were defeated by a spirited Slievenamon team last weekend.
In the new format for this year (4 pairs), the tie finished 2 matches apiece and Slievenamon emerged victorious at the first sudden death play-off hole.
Best of luck to Slievenamon in the next round.

Jimmy Bruen Trials
If anyone is interested in playing Jimmy Bruen this year, there will be a sheet in the hall this coming week so please add your name if you wish to be considered for trials. The plan is to play trial matches against Tramore home and away in the next few weeks (25th April for the home trial match).

Clonmel Seniors
Clonmel Seniors competition will hopefully resume after the Winter months and the first event will eventually take place on Thursday 25th April (weather permitting). Tee times from 10.00am to 11.30am. We would be delighted to welcome back all our Seniors, so please come along.

Donoughmore Cup
Sign-up sheet is available in the Ladies Locker room for the Donoughmore Cup Matchplay competition. Thanks to our sponsors Gwen and Johnny Walshe. The draw will take place in early May.

Inter Club Team
Our Ladies team are playing against Dundrum Golf Club on Saturday April 20th in ‘The Munster Trophy Challenge’ Competition. Best of luck to the Ladies!

The Hub 9 Hole Competition
The Hub 9-hole summer series kicked off on April 1st and is open to all club members.

There are tailored golf lessons for lady beginners scheduled throughout April and May. The club boasts a vibrant community of ladies who enjoy both golf and social activities. There's also a special membership offer for new and returning golfers.
