Tipperary 1-19 Dublin 0-18
Tipperary are through to their third All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final in-a-row, after they had a hard-fought win over Dublin in Sunday’s Semi-Final at Croke Park.
They had a tonic start with a goal from Lar Corbett after just 2 minutes but Dublin didn’t allow that score to deter them, and the sides retired level at half time at 1-8 to 0-11.
The second half was another close affair, as Dublin fought hard to create an upset. Tipp eventually got over the line thanks to solid defensive displays from Conor O’Mahony, Padraic Maher, Paul Curran and Michael Cahill, and some vital points from Noel McGrath, Eoin Kelly, Pa Bourke and Padraic Maher.
They will now meet Kilkenny in the final (for the third consecutive year) on September 4th.
