Cahir played Clonmel Commercials in the minor A final on Sunday in Monroe.

Cahir started brightly and with the aid of the breeze built up a lead of 1-4 to no score after 15 mins. While Commercials started to come into the game Cahir continued to pile on the pressure and would go in at half time leading by 3-5 to 1-1. Despite playing against the wind in the second half the Cahir girls continued to dominate possession and added a further 1-2 and while Clonmel Commercials scored 1-3 their goal was a late penalty. When the final whistle Cahir were victorius on a score line of 4-7 to 2-4. This was Cahir’s 8th county minor title. Well done to all the players and management.
