This game followed the pattern of so many of the games in the Bewleys Ltd minor B hurling championship with a wide margin of 5-20 to 3-2 in favour of the combination side of Emly/Treacys on Wednesday last.
As a contest it was evident very early on that the two sides were mismatched on the night.
Like the other West Minor B contest last week, that between Lattin Gaels and the combination of Rockwell Rovers and Rosegreen, this game was one way traffic from start to finish. The winning margin for Lattin Gaels in their encounter was 23 points, to be trumped by a 24 point winning margin in this ‘contest’ in favour of Emly/Sean Treacy’s.
The winners were home and dry at the interval, leading 3-12 to 1-2 and Cappawhite had no answer to their superiority.
