Sean Treacy’s scored a comprehensive win over Solohead in the junior A football championship at Cappawhite on Tuesday week.
The winners led by 1-6 to 0-5 at the interval, the Treacys goal scored by Kieran Devitt in the 24th minute.
Sean Treacys had a dream start in the second half when Mark Hogan added to their lead with a goal. They continued to have the better of the exchanges in spite of losing Tom Hickey to a second yellow card five minutes after the resumption.
Two further goalss wrapped up the game with the Solohead goal by Mark Lowry in the dying minutes giving respectability to their score.
