To use the well-worn cliche this match between Kickhams and Rosegreen in the West junior A football championship, played at Golden on Sunday evening, was a game of two halves.
Rosegreen were dominant in the first half, and seemed to have the game wrapped up when they led by 1-7 to 0-6 at the interval.
Kickhams took over in the second half, played out of their skins and transformed the half-time deficit of four points into a full-time margin of victory of five points on a scoreline of 1-16 to 1-11.
