He got his evening off to the perfect start by winning both divisions of the Team Tipperary GAA Race Evening Maiden Hurdle, riding the Willie Mullins-trained Bally Longford to a 6½ lengths success in the first division and the Henry De Bromhead-trained Goodoldhonkytonk to a harder-fought 1¾ lengths victory in the second division.
He completed his evenings work by riding the Mick Manning-trained Breffni Gael to win the Skoda Ireland “Ryan Motor Power” Handicap Chase.
