Ballyneale FC played Cullen Lattin in an away game last Sunday.
The Ballyneale players started well, creating three good chances in the first 10 minutes.
The breakthrough came for them after 35 minutes.
The pressure finally told on the Cullen Lattin defence when they conceded a penalty, taking down Enda Fogarty.
Enda then stepped up to take the spot kick but the keeper saved it.
However, the rebound fell to John Noonan, who finished well with a volley.
This was enough to see the team through a tough game with great commitment showing by all involved.
Thankfully Ballyneale FC won and clinched three points.
Best for Ballyneale were Darren McCarthy, Dean Madden, and Enda Fogarty.
The team is not scheduled to play a match this Sunday, December 16.
