All roads lead to Clerihan on Friday, July 19 for the inaugural promotion of their 5 Mile Open Road race.
The organising committee have put together a great array of prizes that covers all categories.
They have got a brilliant response from the local community with over 70 participants competing in their first ever road race event.
The entry fee is €10 and entries will be taken at the Community Hall from 6 pm onwards.
The GSK 5 mile road race took place in Dungarvan last week in ideal summer conditions. Clonmel had good performances from Niall O Ceallaigh 40th 30:32, Mary Molloy 109th 35:34, Frank Lynch 110th 35:35, Maurice Boland 116th 36:04, Eamon English 125th 36:52 and Helen O Ceallaigh 175th 40:40,
