Kids flock to Davin Club’s “Cool Camp”

Davin GAA Club’s final gaelic games skills camp of the summer has attracted more than 100 boys and girls.

Davin GAA Club’s final gaelic games skills camp of the summer has attracted more than 100 boys and girls.

The Club’s players and selectors have spent the past week organising the three-day “Cool Camp”, which is currently taking place. The Club’s minor hurlers and footballers await dates, times and venue of their county games while the U-16 panel awaits news of when the South semi-final will take place.

Meanwhile, the U-14 hurlers will play St. Patrick’s in the South semi-final in Ballylooby on Thursday. Throw-in will be at 7.15pm. All players are to be at the club house for 5.30pm.

Football training will take place every Monday at 6pm for U-6s, U-8s and U-10s. These age groups will train for hurling at 6pm on Tuesdays.

Training for all other age groups will vary so players will be notified by text.

There wasn’t a winner of the Davin Club lotto jackpot prize last week, Numbers drawn were 3, 6, 17, 19.

There were ten match three winners, who each received E20. This week’s jackpot prize is E8250.

The Club congratulates the Tipperary minor team on a great All-Ireland semi-final win against Galway.
