Club Children’s Officer Training: North Tipperary Sports Partnership is holding a Club Children’s Officer Workshop on Saturday 27th April, 2013.
This is a follow on from the 3 hour Code of Ethics Basic Awareness Course and expands on the material delivered in it. The information provided will support the Children’s Officer in the implementation of best practice in their club.
Participants must have completed the Code of Ethics Basic Awareness Course prior to attending the workshop. The training will be delivered by John McElhinney, Irish Sports Council tutor, on: Saturday 27th April 10.00am to 5.00pm. Venue: Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh.
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded on completion of the course.
The Irish Sports Council recommends that there is a gap of 6 months between attending the Basic Awareness Course and the Children’s Officer Workshop to allow the club enough time to implement the learning from the Basic Awareness Course. Places are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis with a maximum of two per club. Early booking is advised and pre-payment is necessary.
You will be asked to provide your certificate number from the Basic Awareness Course. There is a nominal fee of E15 per person.
