West Senior hurling final preview

West Senior hurling final preview

The Tipperary Co-Op Super Valu senior hurling final takes place at Dundrum on Sunday next at 3 pm when Clonoulty Rossmore taking on Eire Óg for the second year in a row.

The Tipperary Co-Op Super Valu junior B hurling championship semi-final, between Arravale Rovers and Cashel King Cormac s, will provide a curtain raiser at 1.15 pm.

Clonoulty-Rossmore will be seeking their seventh final in a row, an indication of their dominant standing in the division for a number of years. No other club in the West has achieved such success. Kickhams won five in a row between 1952 and 1956, and of course won twelve in all in that great period in the club’s history, 1946 to 1960.
