Burgess’ Donagh Maher will make his debut for the Tipperary senior hurling team when lining out at right corner-back for Declan Ryan’s men in Semple Stadium, Thurles.
Tipperary have been made overwhelming favourites to beat the Shannonsiders in Sunday’s Munster hurling quarter-final, a game which forms the second part of an attractive double header. The first game will see the Tipperary footballers face the mighty Kerry.
