Sympathy: Lorrha GAA Club would like to sympathise with the O'Carroll family, Portland on the death of Owen O'Carroll who died last week. After moving to Lorrha from his native Kerry in the early 1970's, Owen became involved with the club, particularly at juvenile level where he trained many teams from Under 12 to 21. He guided Lorrha to a second Minor ‘A' North Final appearance in 42-years back in 2005. In 2007, he was a selector on our Intermediate team that won the county title. Always courteous and an immeansley positive and popular man, Owen will be missed by all in the club. May he rest in peace.

Lorrha GAA would also like to sympathise with the families and both Holycross/Ballycahill and Newport GAA clubs on the deaths of the great John Doyle and Jimmy Butler Coffey who both passed away last week. May they rest in peace.

New Year Wishes: Lorrha GAA club would like to with all our members, players, volunteers, officers and supporters a prosperous New Year.
