Granted, there was a gulf in class and Dr Crokes were certainly the better team and good for the win. But 17 points between them? No way.

And while this, ultimately, is what the game is all about, Loughmore Castleiney fell at the semi-final hurdle having finished with a compliment of thirteen - the same as the hurling clash with Na Piarsaigh.
