Irish rugby star and Lions’ legend Jamie Heaslip and the children of Fitzwilliam Nursery and Montessori School join ISPCC to celebrate and give a big thank you to the staff and customers of Elverys Sports who have raised €200,000 for the ISPCC since the start of the partnership in 2010.
The ISPCC Elverys partnership has been on-going for the last 3 years and in that time, Elverys Sports have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, participated in marathon race events and supported the ISPCC through the sale of ISPCC Elverys Beanie Hats, School Backpacks, Gym Bags and Green Capes. All of this activity has helped to raise €200,000 for the ISPCC enabling the charity to reach out to and support some of the most vulnerable children across Ireland.
Anne-Marie Hanly, Elverys Sports Senior Marketing Manager: “To each and every one, who has given something big or small, we want you to know that it has made a difference to raise much needed funds for the ISPCC, to ensure they can continue the vital services they provide for children. And we would encourage our customers to continue to support the great efforts our staff go to in fundraising for our charity partner. You can find out more in-store or online visit elverysblog.ie.

As part of this initiative, the Nenagh and Thurles Elverys Sports teams are organising special in-store fundraising events to help reach this target. As a further effort to achieve this fundraising goal, 60 Managers and staff from each of the Elverys Sports’ stores have signed up to cross the 10K finish line in under 60 minutes. The 2013 Elverys Sports Galway Bay Half Marathon and 10K will take place on Saturday 28th September 2013. For more information: http://bit.ly/134pyPj
