On Saturday, January 4, Fethard Juvenile GAA Club held their medal presentation to the South and County Under-14 Hurling Champions, and also had our Under-10 team present too. Special guests, Colin O’Riordan from JK Brackens who is a member of the County Tipperary football and hurling panel, along with Fethard’s Michael Ryan, manager of the Tipperary All-Ireland back-to-back champions in Intermediate Hurling, were invited to present the team with their well-earned South and County medals. Thanks to the committee members who prepared the catering and helped with refreshments on the night. It was great to see so many Juvenile committee members present as well as our previous senior chairman, Jimmy O’Shea. Fethard Juvenile Club has so much to look forward to with our up and coming players and with the commitment of our members and parents – ‘The only way is up’.
