What pleased Tipperary senior football Manager Liam Kearns most about his sides first victory of the new season, was the level of application shown throughout the second round of the Allianz National Football League at Sean Treacy Park on Sunday afternoon.
And, it was hard not to agree with him.
The Kerry native had watched his side take a few hefty setbacks during the course of the game, but they still came strong to deliver the bodyblow which felled visitors Clare and denied them their second victory in the campaign.
