Semple Stadium in Thurles has been confirmed by the GAA as the venue for the All-Ireland senior hurling quarter final ties between Clare and Galway, and Waterford and Wexford, The Tipperary Star can reveal.
The games will take place on Sunday July 24th with the Clare vs Galway game acting as the curtain raiser at 2:00pm, followed by the Wexford vs Waterford game at 4:00pm.
Clare, Waterford and Wexford have already played in Thurles in the championship this season but it will be a first visit for last years All-Ireland Final runners up Galway, who will be anxious to get back to the decider in September again.
