Tipperary are drawn to face Limerick in the 2019 Munster Senior Football Championship

Liam Kearns’ Tipperary team have been drawn to face Limerick in the quarter-finals of the 2019 Munster Senior Football Championship - the draw for the 2019 championship took place on Thursday, October 11th live on RTÉ Two television.
The 2018 Munster football finalists (Kerry and Cork) progressed automatically to the semi-finals while an open draw was made to determine the quarter-final match-ups (involving Tipperary, Limerick, Waterford and Clare).
The quarter-final draw is as follows: Tipperary v Limerick, Waterford v Clare. The semi-final draw reads as follows: Kerry v Clare or Waterford and Cork v Tipperary or Limerick.
In the 2018 Munster Senior Football Championship quarter-finals Tipperary beat Waterford (0-20 to 0-9), but lost to Cork (0-9 to 1-17) at the semi-final stage. In round two of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Qualifiers the Premier County lost to Mayo (1-11 to 1-19).
No draw was required for the 2019 Munster Senior Hurling Championship since the competition will be run on a round robin format.
