The Templemore native helped found Irish Culture Association of Denmark
A Tipperary native living in Denmark has become a founding member of a new Irish culture association.
Tara Klarlund Hogan from Templemore is living in Copenhagen, and helped found the Irish Culture Association of Denmark.
The new association has a focus on all things Irish, including GAA, Irish music and arts.
The association is also aimed at creating a a vibrant Irish community in Denmark.

Ms Klarlund Hogan has lived in Copenhagen since 2001, and is the Head of the English Department at Studieskolen, Copenhagen, a school that teaches Danish to foreigners living in Denmark.
The Irish Culture Association of Denmark are organising a host of events aimed at promoting Ireland and Irish culture, including the St Patrick's Day Parade on March 16.

The association say that their "purpose is to create meaningful connections between the Irish, Danish, and international communities, honoring the richness of Irish heritage while embracing diversity".
