Templemore Ladies Football
Curley named as new Tipp Captain
Great news reached us last weekend when Maria Curley was announced as the new Tipperary Ladies Senior Football captain for 2022.
Maria has worn the blue and gold for 12 years and she is the holder of several titles including 2 Intermediate All Ireland titles. Maria will bring her skill, dedication, motivation and commitment to the role and we wish her all the best. She will be joined on the county panel by her club-mates Aine Delaney and Neassa Towey while Johnny Nevin is a member of the management team.
Ruth Johnston (U-16) and Julie Grey, Tara Bourke, Nicole Buckley and Kate Nevin (U-14) have also made the cut for the coming season. We wish them all the best of luck in the Blue and Gold. In preparation for the upcoming season we are inviting expressions of interest for the positions of manager and mentors for all age groups from U-8 to Senior. Please contact the club via email at templemore.tipperary @lgfa.ie before 6pm on Sunday 16th January to register your interest.
The club would like to wish all its members and supporters a Happy New Year and we look forward to your continued support in 2022.

Congratulations to Pajo and Margaret Meade who won €5,000 in the January County Board draw and also to their promoter Willie Fogarty. Remember you can join at any time by contacting draw coordinator Tony Sheedy or any committee member. Well done also to young Caoimhe Percy who claimed last Saturday night’s 50/50 draw worth €336.
Last Sunday saw Jack Kennedy, Jordan Moloney and Eanna McBride all make their Senior Inter County debut with Tipperary footballers which resulted in a one point victory with Jack kicking the equaliser and the winner having come on as a sub. They now face the Kingdom in Templetouhy tonight (Wed) at 7pm. Best of luck lads.
