Tipperary man, 25, charged with assault on April 18 is refused bail at Nenagh Court

A 25-year-old Tipperary Town man was remanded in custody by Nenagh Court this Friday in relation to an assault in the town during the week.

Michael O'Dwyer, 25, with an address at 52 James Connolly Park, Tipperary Town, is charged with assault causing harm in the Avondale area of the town on April 18, 2018.

Det Garda Kieran Keane told Judge Elizabeth MacGrath that the Gardai were objecting to bail.

Mr O'Dwyer was represented by Vincent McCormack, solicitor, Tipperary Town, who made an application for bail.

Judge MacGrath refused bail and remanded Mr O'Dwyer in custody to Tipperary Town Court on Wednesday, April 25.
