A day of free entertainment for all the family at The Source Arts Centre this June

The Source Arts Centre and library will puts its best artistic foot forward for its annual family day on Saturday, June 25th.

Starting at 11am the free entertainment and events includes workshops and chats for kids, opening with a workshop on the current ‘30 Years, Artists, Places’ exhibition in the Gallery space.

You can join the Limerick Printmakers mobile printmaking team and experience the joy of pulling your very own silkscreen print.

This great activity is suitable for ages four and up and the team will be encouraging everyone to get involved.

Roscrea-based guitar, mandolin and vocal duo Máire Long and Lisa O’Neill will provide music on the day.

If you are looking for some magic in your life, stick around for magician Colm Dawson who will present two shows full of fun, laughter and excitement.

The Source will also feature face painting, games and more on the boardwalk to keep everyone occupied while delicious food will be available from Café Stef Hans.

Joe Dolan Tribute

The Nenagh Arts Centre will feature a Joe Dolan tribute act on Saturday, June 18th at 8.30pm (tickets are priced at €20).

Paschal Brennan, together with his superb live band, will recreate the magic and the music of Ireland’s greatest show band performer Joe Dolan with passion and style.

Coupled with his incredible stage show, Paschal will deliver powerful renditions of all those great floor filling classics made famous by the Mullingar man. Don’t forget what all the critics use to say “there was no show like a Joe show”.
