Kilfeacle House features two nights of opera, tapas and wine in aid of Pieta House

Kilfeacle House are delighted to invite you to attend an evening of opera music, tapas and wine in support of Pieta House on Saturday, August 20th and Sunday, August 21st.

The concerts will be hosted in the Kilfeacle House gardens and will feature four main singers - two from Italy Marco Bianco (tenor) and Barbara Grossi (soprano) and two from Ireland Derek Ryan (Tipperary Town) and Sarah Ellen Murphy (Limerick); Derek Ryan is a baritone bass and Sarah Ellen Murphy is a contralto.

All four singers are classically trained with the Italians enjoying the Bel canto traditions and the Irish singers their softer melodic ballad traditions.

All four artists will perform to their respective strengths featuring older pieces from, for example, 'Puccini' and modern musical pieces from 'Phantom of the Opera' among others.

Additional guest singers will feature on the nights and whilst the artists will perform on stage for a period of two hours there will be an interval between the two halves.

The singers will be accompanied on the piano by concert pianists Massimilanno Franchina (Rome) and Pat Marnane (Tipperary).

Last year's even proved to be a brilliant success and this year promises to be even better.

The event runs from 7.15pm to 10pm nightly (dress code: smart, outdoor) and tickets are priced at €50 per person per night.

There is limited availability of tickets so so those interested are encouraged to reserves their seat as soon as possible. Please contact Marianne O'Sullivan on 087 455 4759 or email kilfeaclehouseopera@gmail.com.
