Friday, July 13 – Table Quiz; Sunday, July 15 – Tour of historical sites in Burncourt area; Tuesday July 17 – ‘45’ Card Game; Friday, July 20 – Burncourt Drama Group Presentation in Community Centre & ‘I’m a Celebrity, get me out of here’ (part of Battle of the Parish); Saturday, July 21 – Car Treasure Hunt (€E20 per car); Fancy Dress - 8pm; Sunday, July 22 – Gala Day; including Children’s Sports, Final Round Robin Football challenge, Final Battle of the Parish, Sheepdog display, Teas, B-B-Q, Bouncing Castle, etc.

Also Children’s Art competition, GAA and Soccer matches during week Monday 16 –Friday, July 20.


A night to dispel all the doom and gloom is coming to South Tipperary on Friday, June, 29, when South Tipperary Rural Arts Group will host “2Tuff Yokes” in concert in St. Paul’s Community Centre, Clogheen. Our sincere condolences to the Morrissey family on the death of Seamus, Clondalkin and formerly of Glencallaghan. Our condolences to Kathleen, son Kenneth, daughter Caroline, brothers P.J. and Sean, sister Marian, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May Seamus’ soul rest in peace in the comfort of God’s Heavenly Kingdom.

U12 Blitz Winners:

Our u12’s took part in a Go Games blitz in Clonmel last Saturday. This event was hosted by St.Marys Camogie Club, thanks to them for hosting. The girls played against Moyle Rovers, St. Marys, Carrick Swans and Fethard. They won every game. This team showed great potential and we have high hopes for them in the future well done to all concerned.


U12B Semi Final - Brian Borus -V- Templemore, Wednesday 13th, in Ballylooby at 7.30pm. Please come out and support the girls.
