All players will receive a timetable of games and all are requested to attend at advised times.

The Club extends best wishes to a great Swan supporter Jean Ryan of O’Mahony Avenue, who is unwell at the moment.

A juvenile disco for boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 13 will take place on Friday, November 9 from 8pm to 10pm.

Parents and those attending are reminded the time for the finish of the disco has changed to 10pm. All are welcome to come along and those who attend the November disco will be admitted free to the Christmas disco in December.

Parents of the Club’s youngest players are reminded that names for those attending the annual Christmas party/trip to the Waterford pantomime on Saturday, December 15 should have been submitted by now.

Places cannot be guaranteed for those who have not returned a deposit and booking form.

All members are reminded that the annual general meeting of Carrick Swan GAA Club will take place on Friday, November 23. Nomination papers for the election of officers and motions for proposal at the agm are now available online on the Swan Club

website or from any committee member.

Carrick Swan Club’s annual flag day collections that were due to take place on Friday and Saturday, November 9 and 10 have been deferred. Thanks to those who volunteered to help with the collection. The Club will call on them for their help again at a later date.

Meanwhile, numbers drawn in last week’s juvenile lotto draw were 2, 4, 13 and 24. There wasn’t any winner of the jackpot prize of €5,750 and five players matched three numbers to win €50 each.

There were also five €30 lucky dip prizes.

Carrick Swan Club thanks all those who continue to play the lotto and reminds those who might like to join that weekly entry costs €2 and this can be paid to any committee member or to a lotto promoter, who will call to collect the entry fee each week. This week’s jackpot prize is €6,000. The public’s continued support helps the Club provide for all its juvenile players and is very much appreciated.

Carrick Swan Club extends its sympathy to the families of Mossy Brunnock and Sheila Walsh. who died last week. The Club also sympathises with the Tobin family, Mooncoin and Gleeson family Rathgormack/Clonea on recent family bereavements.
