As always this year the ceremonies at Christmas were really special and a packed church each day.  Special thanks to the choir they were just super to listen to, what a lot of work they into it.  For all who helped in any way to make the ceremonies special, thank you.

To the husband and sons and daughters of the late Josie Murrnane, Dundrum, to her brother, sisters and extended family sympathy is extended. Josie was interred in Knockvilla on Saturday, December 22, after requiem mass in Knockvilla.

Sincere sympathy to son Thomas, daughters Helen, Anita and Caroline, brothers Dan, Mike, Eddie, John and Pat, sisters Mary and Chrissie and indeed extended family and many friends of the late Josie Coughlan. Josie was known for her great generosity when in the pub and indeed all through her life, she will be missed by many. She was laid to rest in Cappawhite cemetery on Saturday, December 29.

Sympathy is extended to Kathleen Barry, Summerhill, Anacarty and formerly The Cresent, Cappawhite, her sons and daughters and indeed all the extended families on the unexpected death of her husband and dad Bill who was widely known for his ballad singing and music. The extra large crowd at Bills reposing at his home, at the mass and at the burial on Sunday showed Bills’ popularity.

Sympathy to Sam O’Doherty, brother Thomas and sister Teresa on the death of their mam who lived in Canon Hayes Park, Tipperary. Mrs O’ Doherty is survived also by her sister Cathy. From Sam’s many friends at the Resource Centre, especially the dance committee sincere sympathy is extended.

Sympathy also to Alice Barry, Aleen, and her large family on the sudden death of Alice’s husband Liam who was interred on Monday last, January 7.

On all their dear souls  “sweet Jesus have mercy”.
