Elizabeth and David Fund;
The fund raising committee would like to thank sincerely all who supported the recent Big Maggie Production in St Paul’s Community Centre. The support and generosity of the community was humbling.
Thanks to Clogheen Drama Group for putting on the extra performance at such short notice. We would like David and Elizabeth well in the future.
Deepest sympathies are extended to Sharon Dempsey, Clogheen on the recent death of her mother Mary which occurred in Waterford Regional Hospital. It has come to our attention that imposters posing as Scrap Metal collectors for the club have been doing the rounds lately. They unfortunately have been using the names of Club Members from the posters when calling to houses in neighbouring parishes. Our collections are all organised in advance and are coming to a conclusion shortly but please be aware of this activity.
Our congratulations this week go to club stalwart James Bulter who married fellow Burncourt native Una Browne on Saturday last in Holycross. James over the past two decades contributed more than most to the Fr Sheehys cause both on the playing field and in his role as Club Chairman. Indeed Una also has more than a passing interest in GAA affairs, she acts as a Club Steward on occasions in Semple Stadium. We wish this genuine couple a long and happy life together.
The Club extends its sympathy to the family of Eilish Keating, Burncourt who passed away last weekend.
