Proposed calendar of events to mark the Year of the Gathering. Thursday, August 15: 7pm Annual Mass at Ardmayle Cemetery, followed by official opening of Gathering Weekend by Fr. Joe Egan PP. 8pm: Welcome refreshments in Ardmayle Church with ‘Cuardaíocht’, story-telling and folklore. Friday, August 16: 8pm: “Come walk with me along the road”, local speakers will relate of life past and present along roads on the Western side of the River Suir. Saturday, August 17: 3pm to 5pm: Genealogy Workshop in Ardmayle Church with Cecile Mulcahy, local genealogist. A walking tour of Ardmayle and the Cemetery will also take place. 8pm “Come walk with me along the road”, local speakers will relate of life past and present along the roads on the Eastern side of the River Suir. Sunday, August: 12.30pm: Planting of tree and unveiling of plaque in Ardmayle in remembrance of the people who left the area over the centuries. This will be followed by a walk along the Mass Path to Boherlahan. 2pm: Celebratory Mass at Boherlahan with the Parish Choir to conclude the occasion.
ST JOHN’S EVE BONFIRE
Will be held in the churchyard in Ardmayle on Sunday, June 23, at 7.30pm. All are welcome to partake in this ancient and centuries old custom of jumping the fire and celebrating midsummer.
ANNUAL OUTING
The annual Ardmayle Heritage Society outing will be to Clonmel and St. Patrick’s Well this year on Saturday, July 13.

PARISH SPORTS
This Thursday, June 13, commencing at 6.30pm in Boherlahan GAA field. There are 25 field events plus novelty races. This is a great community event and a wonderful family evening.
FUNDRAISING COFFEE MORNING & CAKE SALE
This Thursday, June 13, at the home of Mairead Power, Dualla. From 11am to 3pm in aid of the Pallotine Missions.
U12 CAMOGIE
Our U12 camogie girls were out in the Ragg last Saturday in the County C Plate semi-final against Fethard. They won well with a score-line of 5-4 to 1-2. The final is provisionally booked for this coming Saturday in the Ragg against Knockavilla at 1pm.
U14B FOOTBALL
Congrats to our U14 girls on capturing another county final title last Monday evening in Ballycahill where they played Thurles Sarsfields.
ST. ISIDORE’S NS
Congratulations to St Isidore’s NS and their fantastic camogie teams who won the U11 Roinn A county final and the U13 Roinn B county final which were held in Semple Stadium last Thursday and Friday.
DUALLA NS PARENTS ASSOCIATION FUNDRAISER
Dualla NS Parents Association will hold a table quiz fundraiser on Friday, June 21, in the Community Hall, Dualla at 7.30pm. Tables of four are €20 for adults and €10 for children. Children must be accompanied to the quiz by parents. A raffle will also take place. Refreshments on the night.
LITTLE FLOWER NS PARENTS ASSOCIATION FUNDRAISER
Please bring in unwanted textiles and mobile phones to the school during school hours. Last collection Monday, June 17. A donation from the total will be made to the ISPCC.
