Arravale Rovers

The Halloween Teenage disco held on Friday, October 25 in Kiely’s Night Club was a resounding success. Our cake sale that was organised for Sunday, October 27 was very well supported throughout the day. Thanks to every one who supported the club on the day. The club would also like to thank all the people who gave of their time to assist in any way, big or small, in both fundraising events.

The town league is in full swing for the U12 and at this stage all teams have played four matches each. We will be entering the latter stages of the competition with the semi finals and finals being played during the coming week. Training continues for the younger children from 10am to 12pm. Everybody must bring indoor runners, boots and mouth guards to training each week.

St. Michael’s FC

The FAI draw takes place on November 3. This has been very successful for the club and many thanks to our loyal supporters who bought tickets and we sincerely hope some one wins a nice prize.

The weather destroyed two fixtures last weekend; our Youth team game and our B team game were cancelled. No fixture this weekend as TSDL Youth Tipp team in action.

Our 1st team were away to Killenaule Rovers in round 1 of Munster Junior cup on Sunday last. Result 6.0 to Saints.

Upcoming fixtures: On Saturday, November 7 at 7,30pm our 1st team is at home in a huge FAI 3rd round clash to fellow premier league outfit Peake Villa at Cooke Park. Hopefully, there will be a good crowd at this vital game.

Sunday, November 3, at 12 Noon our 2nd team is away to Clonmel Town in division 2 league fixture. Support for the above games would be much appreciated.

St. Michaels Schoolboys

There was mixed results at the weekend with both our U12s and U14s playing Clonmel Town in the league. Our U12s were at home lost 6-0 to a good town team. The lads are trying hard and will turn their season around yet. The U14s were away to Town. This game was played in horrible conditions. Saints short a few on the day but put in a brilliant performance to come away with a 2-2 draw and could have taken all three points with a bit of luck. Cian Murphy scored both goals.

Fixtures: November 2. U15s home V Moyglass league Ko 11am
