One of the Heats of South East Regional A.R.A. Annual Quiz will be held in Cahir on Tuesday, October 9. Time to brush up our general knowledge skills!

Our monthly meeting takes place on the first Wednesday of each month.

Gaeilge - Irish Classes

Irish Classes for beginners and revisers are continuing at the Old Vocational School, Church Street.

Craft Granary 

South East Ceramics Exhibition of ceramics from craft workers in the South East Region Tipperary/ Kilkenny/ Carlow/ Waterford and Wexford at the Craft Granary, Cahir. The exhibition runs from Friday, September 21, to Friday, October 19. Opening hours 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. 9am to 5pm on Saturday.

Swiss Cottage last free

Ballingeary ICA

The next Guild meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 3, at 8pm in Ballingeary school house. Harvest Thanksgiving

The annual Harvest Thanksgiving at Cahir Presbyterian Church will be held on Sunday, September 30, commencing at 7.30pm.

The guest preacher will be The Revd Sam Millar, and the service will be followed by a harvest supper. All are welcome.

Much loved pet missing

A Jack Russell, brown and tan, called Brittany has been missing since last Friday, September 14, from the Farnagark/ Grangemore area. Brittany is micro chipped, neutered and was wearing a red collar. Further information has been given of a man seen picking up a small dog on September 14 or 15 on Loughloher hill road. He was driving a silver crew cab and this gentleman is asked to please come forward to verify whether it was his own dog he was collecting or a lost one. A reward is offered for any information of this much loved family pet, please call 0527441539.

Cahir Community Lotto

The next draw will take place on Wednesday, September 26, at 12 noon in Cahir Day Care Centre. The Jackpot will then be €2,600. Tickets are available in local shops and also at the Enterprise Centre.
