Brian Borus Under 16 team played the County C semi-final last Sunday against Arravale Rovers in Tipperary Town. Brian Borus had the better of their opponents in the first half and looked like they had sealed their final spot. However, Arravale came out a different team in the second half and at the final whistle both sides were level on a scoreline of 6-8 each. It was a fair result after a thoroughly entertaining game of football. The replay next weekend. Best of luck to the girls with that. The team lined out as follows; Norma Kennedy, Kayleigh O’Brien, Ellen English, Chloe Sweeney, Jane Hyland, Laura Morrissey, Claire Doyle, Eilish Kennedy, Fiona Burke, Caoimhe Hickey, Niamh Walsh, Caoimhe Condon, Helena Walsh, Jessica Myers and Linda Murphy. Subs; Amy Tobin, Zoe Lynch and Emma White
The table quiz held for the club last weekend was very poorly supported. However, thanks to Seanie Lonergan, Tom and Mary Fahey for all their help. Thanks to those who turned up on the night.
