The West U 13 Development squad programme will commence in the coming week with a view to preparing squads for the interdivisional hurling and football competitions in 2012.

U12 - On August 10 the Golden/Kilfeacle hurlers took part in the Munster U12 Blitz in Semple Stadium. They played St Saviours (Waterford), Castlelyons (Cork) and St Patricks (Limerick). Golden/Kilfeacle emerged winners in all three games. The teams were given a tour of the stadium by Seamus Callinan and Padraig Maher. Afterwards the team went to McDonalds to complete an enjoyable day.
