Football

Our under 21 footballers bowed out of the West championship last Friday night when they were defeated 4-10 to 1-11 by Rockwell/Rosegreen, under lights in New Inn. A poor start to both halves, left us chasing the game from an early stage and we were unable to get closer than four points to the combo at any stage. However we kept on trying hard and hit a goal and a couple of points late on, only for the home side to pull away with another goal.

Easter camp

For many years our juvenile club have organised a very successful Summer Camp and this year they are going one better by having a four day Easter Camp during the second week of the school holidays. We will have further details next week regarding the format of this camp.

CHURCH NOTICES

G TEAM LISVERNANE

Congratulations to all involved in the G TEAM who took the honour home to Lisvernane last weekend in the TG4 challenge to introduce our native Irish to the community, continued success to our neighbouring parish.
