Queen of the Suir festival is nearly upon us in Golden village. Our four-day line up is a festival with something for everyone from Thursday’s bingo right through to our 2013 Queen, announced at festival dance on Sunday night. The festival committee have worked very hard to make this what they hope will be a great festival. We are asking all parishioners to come out and really enjoy and support all events, a lot of which are free events this “Gathering Ireland” year. Keep an eye on our festival window at the “ creamery” for info. We are looking for donations of cakes etc for our cake sale, and bags, jewellery, ornaments etc for our bric a brac stall, so maybe “declutter”and move stuff on. And finally...Let’s pray for sunshine!
