Hard luck to our U12B footballers who lost to a very strong Clonoulty Rossmore team last Sunday, March 25, in New Inn. Rovers gave as good as they got for long periods but found scores just that little bit harder to come by than their opponents. Two well taken goals by Harry Fitzgerald kept Rockwell in the match and well taken points by Fergus English and John Marnane augur well for the future.
Our second string U12’s had a great win over the Clonouty Rossmore seconds. Three goals from Diarmuid O’Brien, Robert Murphy and Kevin Cleary meant the result was never in doubt. Kevin also scored 3 pts to add to Tom Downey’s opening point.
