Ardfinnan GAA

Ardfinnan were defeated by Moyle Rovers in the South final on Sunday, 1.11 to 1.8. While Ardfinnan will be disappointed they will take the positives from the year, they are a very young team and have only lost the last 2 finals by a kick of a ball. They were involved in a fantastic game of football with excellent fielding and scores coming form both sides. Ardfinnan never gave up and a few breaks around the Moyle Rovers penalty area on another day would have found the back of the net. The club would like to thank the management and players for their huge efforts over the last few months and there is no doubt their day will come sooner rather than later with this panel of players.
