Busy times at Library

A short story workshop begins in Cashel Library on Thursday, October 6, between 7pm and 8.30pm with Robert Little.

Bridge Club takes place on Friday, October 7, from 10am to 1pm.

Introduction to classical music continues Tuesday, October 11, between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

The next meeting of the seven to nine year-olds book club will take place on Tuesday, October 11, at 7pm. Children’s Book Festival & Halloween competitions available at the desk.

Story-time continues every Saturday from 3pm to 3.30pm also toddler story-time takes place every Monday between 10.30am and 11am

Toastmasters

Cashel Toastmasters meet on the first and third Thursday of the month in Gleesons Bar, Lady’swell St, Cashel. Our next meeting is this Thursday, October 6, at 8pm. It is the night of our humorous speech and table-topics competition so it promises to be a fun night! Guests are welcome. No admission charge as we always need an audience. New Women’s Group at Spafield Family Resource Centre

Have you some free time one day a week (morning or evening) and would like to participate in a group that is just for you?

Then why not join a new women’s group which will meet once a week at a time that suits you.

The group is free to join and weekly meetings and activities are based on group interests.

Rainbows Programme

Rainbows is a peer support programme for children who are grieving a death, separation or other painful transition in their family.

A Rainbows Programme will begin in Spafield Family Resource Centre in October 2011.

CV preparation and updating

One to one support for CV preparation is now available in Spafield Family Resource Centre

Camogie Club

County Senior Semi-Final

Cashel came out on top on Sunday last when beating Burgess Duharra on a scoreline of 4.6 to 0.10

They now contest the County Final against Drom on Sunday, October 23, in the County Camogie Pitch at the Ragg. Time to be decided.

U/15 Team County Final

Cashel V Newport this coming week-end October 9. Time and venue to be decided. Please contact any club member. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

The Cashel branch of Amnesty International will hold their monthly meeting in Mikey Ryan’s. Main St on Monday, October 10, at 8.30pm All welcome. Our annual table quiz will take place in the Brian Boru, Main St, on Thursday, October 13, at 9pm. Please support.
