Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will be held in St. Nicholas Church, Solohead on Friday May 4, from 9.15 to 10.30.
CONFIRMATION
Confirmation will be administered in St. Nicholas Church, Solohead on this Wednesday May 2 at 11 a.m. by the Archbishop Dermot Clifford.
ROSARY
The Rosary will be recited by the Legion of Mary in Russellstown Court on Friday May 4. All are welcome.

Congratulations to John and Amy Duggan, Tipperary and Barnaleen, who were married 49 years.
SOCIAL DANCING
Social and Old Time Dancing will be held in the Community Hall, Cappawhite on Saturday May 5, music by Twice Shy (Colm Aungier). Admission is €8.

Sologhead GAA
Our Junior Hurlers got their West Championship off to a winning start on Sunday last in Sean Treacy Park with a two point margin win over Golden/Kilfeacle which finished on a scoreline of 2-9 to 1-10. (See Match report in GAA columns.
Our U12 Footballers are safely through to the West Semi Final which will be played in Lattin this Monday afternoon May 7th at 2.30pm. (Opponents not known at time of writing)
The winner of our fund raising car draw which was selected on Sunday night last at the Bit and Bridle, Limerick Junction was Mrs Mary Hayes, Ballylanders, County Limerick.
On hand to draw the winner was a man who has served Sologhead well over many years at both Club and County level, Con Ahearn of Raheen. Well done Con.
Sologhead Club wish to thank everyone who purchased and sold tickets and who helped out in any way in supporting the draw.
